Taking Clients August 2026 Tianna is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at The Compassion Clinic, a Yorkville University graduate of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program, and holds a BA in Sociology from Trent University. She completed her clinical internship at Queen’s University Student Wellness Services, where she worked with a diverse student population navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. Passionate about creating a therapy space that feels warm, real, and genuinely human, she believes the therapeutic relationship is not just part of the process, it is the process. Before any technique or framework, she is oriented toward the person in front of her, building safety first and never rushing it. You will not leave sessions with a stack of homework and a pamphlet. You will leave feeling seen. Tianna started her Master’s exactly 10 years after completing her undergrad, and she will be the first to tell you those 10 years were not a detour. They were the education. Life happened in that decade, and it shaped the kind of therapist and human she is today. She is a mom, a partner, and a devoted dog and cat mom in a household that keeps her on her toes. She is a firm believer in accepting all the pieces of yourself, even the ones that are hard to say out loud. Drawing on DBT and IFS alongside her person-centred foundation, Tianna’s work is strengths-based, and nothing makes her happier than helping people see what they are already doing right, even when they cannot see it themselves just yet. She works with ages 13 and up and offers individual counselling. She enjoys supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, life transitions, relational stress, and identity. She has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and understands firsthand the beautiful, overwhelming, identity-shifting chaos that comes with motherhood. She also has a soft spot for clients who feel stuck, hard on themselves, or quietly exhausted by holding it all together, and are ready for a space to slow down and figure out what they actually need.

Fun Facts About Tianna - She loves hiking and will take any excuse to be outside - She will never, and I mean never, give up her skinny jeans - She would lose her head if it wasn’t attached. Don’t believe her? Ask her where her keys are.

** Accepting Clients September 2026** Meet Amanda! Our student psychotherapist currently completing her practicum through Yorkville University in Counselling Psychology and being supervised by Justin Tudor Price.

She brings a blend of professional experience, academic training, and lived experience to her work, having spent years supporting individuals through crisis, addiction, homelessness, trauma, and mental health challenges. As a crisis worker and former addictions counsellor, she has supported people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives and understands that meaningful change often begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood.

Amanda believes that behaviours, emotions, and thought patterns make sense when viewed within the context of a person's life experiences. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, she is interested in understanding what may be driving or maintaining a client's struggles. She identifies as neurodiverse and is passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming environment where clients feel safe to show up authentically and without judgment. Amanda strives to offer LGBTQ2S+ affirming care and is committed to creating a therapeutic space where diversity is celebrated, identities are respected, and clients can explore their experiences openly and safely. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Activation, person-centred principles, and trauma-informed approaches, Amanda works collaboratively with clients to build insight, identify patterns, and create meaningful change. She has a particular interest in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, burnout, and relationship challenges. She is also passionate about working with helping professionals, first responders, neurodivergent individuals, and those living with the lasting impacts of childhood adversity. Courtney Orr is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), graduate of Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program, and a proud Carleton University alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Courtney is passionate about creating a therapy space that feels warm, authentic, and genuinely human. Having navigated her own transitions and life changes, she understands that growth is rarely linear and that most people are simply doing their best with the tools they have. This perspective shapes her approach to therapy, allowing her to connect with clients in a way that is compassionate, relatable, and free from judgment. She believes therapy doesn’t have to feel rigid or intimidating. While maintaining professionalism and evidence-based practice, Courtney strives to create an environment where clients can show up exactly as they are. Whether that means coming to session in cozy clothes, bringing a favourite snack, or reaching for a fidget toy during a difficult conversation, she wants clients to feel comfortable enough to be themselves. Therapy is challenging work, and Courtney believes comfort and connection can make that work feel a little more manageable. Courtney’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She views clients as the experts in their own lives and sees her role as walking alongside them while they navigate challenges, build self-awareness, and create meaningful change. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, Courtney works with clients to better understand themselves, identify their strengths, and move toward the life they want to build. Courtney aims to provide a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered. Courtney works with adults and young adults (typically 16+). She enjoys supporting clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem concerns, substance use challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about working with individuals who are exploring identity, building confidence, and trying to better understand themselves. Courtney also enjoys supporting clients who feel “stuck” or overwhelmed and are looking for a space to slow down, reflect, and begin making meaningful changes at their own pace.

A Few Fun Facts About Courtney - There is a very good chance she will arrive to session with an iced coffee in hand. - She loves Pilates and values movement as an important part of overall wellness. - Has a collection of fidget toys and is always on the lookout for new additions
